Kingdoms in the Wild is aware of the lack of visibility that works by writers from diverse and underrepresented cultures and backgrounds face. We are particularly interested building an inclusive and nurturing platform for said work. 


OPEN | Rolling Basis

POEMS: Please submit 1-6 poems in a single spaced .doc or pdf file. Author name, info and short bio should be on the last page of the document.  Please include Poetry Submission in the subject line.

SHORTS: We are looking for short works (up to 6,000 words) in the literary, science fiction & fantasy genre featuring diverse characters and/or diverse narratives. Please include Short Story Submission in the subject line.

THEME: I SEE YOU: As the saying goes, the eyes are the windows to the soul. In a time where everything feels heavy, muddied and fractured, our theme this issue focuses on sight and seeing the humanity in each other.

NOTE: We are not  looking for work that glorifies hate or violence in any way shape or form. We want originality in thought, form and perspective, not merely the latest version or iteration of (x...)
